Profiles

Profiles are synced shopper records — the people ACO knows about from your store.

A profile is a shopper record imported from your connected customers (for example, via Shopify customer sync). Each profile has a stable identity and optional profile fields ACO can read when personalizing decisions.

Profiles are separate from feeds: feeds hold catalog rows ACO ranks from; profiles hold shoppers ACO ranks for. You manage profile data under Profiles in the console — not under your personal Account settings.

Profile console pages

  • Profile Signals numeric values on each shopper (for example, lifetime spend).
  • Profile Affinities shopper activity linked to catalog relationships (for example, recent views).

Profile Signals and Profile Affinities work the same way as their feed counterparts, but they attach to shopper records instead of catalog rows. Policies combine both when scoring and discovering what to show.
